That’s the strategy I’m basically following. Obviously I’m flexible. I probably won’t sell much PMs until they reach fair value ( I use attached metric to indicate current fair value in USD)
Even then I’m likely to hold a fair chunk of my wealth in PMs.
What most of us in PMs are waiting for is the FED to go all in on QE helicopter money when the crisis/ recession hits .
This will commence the hyperinflation and should result in an Oz gold being between $10-20 000 silver $500-$1000 at a ratio of 20-1.
Then it really matters not what the price of the equity / asset (car , house whatever) is in US$ paper currency.
If valuations are attractive this is the point in my opinion to by some quality value stocks.
PM holders will have increased real wealth exponentially through holding currently undervalued metal.

Many are even predicting a situation where certain assets like houses (at least in some over priced areas) actually drop in US$ price at this point,
So say in gold terms it may only cost 25 oz for an average house.
But that’s an unknown as where the hyper inflation will hit and not is not easily ascertained.
I actually believe the politicians won’t allow the FED to give the QE to bail out Wall Street next time. They will demand it goes to the average citizen/ taxpayer/ consumer. (rightfully so)
