This is such an American cope. You spend your whole life looking at paperwork and bills that tell you that it costs $10,000 or whatever to fix a broken arm and that the hospital should be charging you $100 for a 5 cent pill, and actually believe that shit. Never consider for a second that you're actually just being ripped off.
Then you have to come up with some cope theory for how universal healthcare must be some 'trick' that can only work because of something else
