In my opinion its very satisfying, yes. social gatherings, going places, meeting great and shitty people. Having great and shitty moments. Humans are very social creatures. I had a period of 2 years where i got very social and outgoing because of my steroid use and i had a shit ton of fun during that time. Now it feels even worse to waste time in my youth because i know how fun it is to be social. Im also a very social guy, but certain things just keep me from going out so that makes it even more depressing.
Clubbing or festivals arent really fun but having social gatherings where people just talk, listen to music and drink abit make me very happy.
I plan to go back to this life. I think at 24 im still young enough.
