Not him, but also think I'm in the top 1%

Terrifying. Basically shorting Western civilization while still living here. We're in for rough times.

My theory is that the powers that be allowed the Treasury bonds to rise just enough to cause some technical damage to Gold primarily and Silver secondarily. I expect the Fed to already be implementing YCC, and if not they will very soon.

Gold is now "no longer in a bull market" according to TAfaggots who ignore anything that's not lines on a chart, and thus they trade accordingly. Meanwhile, bonds going up means insolvency for the US Government and knowing this, you bet your ass they won't let it stand.

Short of it is - they're playing jewish tricks to damage Gold's roll to make it less appealing as a safe hedge against what's coming and to force money back into risk assets to avoid stocks trading sideways.

High quality post. I'm taking more pictures next time around. Didn't have a lot of time for shots last time I was home.

I was very young but I did go through a period of hyperinflation as a child so I remember a few things, and having studied those times superficially a few things happened:

The economy chugged along, but the government capped prices of common goods like food to prevent retailers from taking advantage of desperate people. If you're from the southern states, this type of policy usually comes into effect during hurricanes in relation to essential items like food & gasoline. It also imposed quantity limits so people couldn't buy the entire stock due to supply shortages. Again, similar to the early Covid days. I assume most Americans aren't used to these policies long term but they were in effect for 5-6 years where I'm from. Inflation rates were published twice a day so goods had to be re-priced to match.

It was so long ago that the concept of online brokerage accounts wasn't invented or popularized yet, so I can't say what happened to the stock market. I can say that people basically had no savings because saving money was useless. The ones who did have some savings fell to an attempt to control inflation by freezing monetary assets, so you could only get a fixed amount of money out of the bank per month, that the government specified and thought would be enough to survive on, and that was it. While that worked temporarily, people found ways to circumvent this and inflation picked back up violently. Those with savings they couldn't access lost it all.

Those memories are why I converted so much of my savings and NW into PM at the end of last year. The more I see the current situation we're in the more parallels I can draw and the more worried I become.

I think 2oz of Gold might be a good start but I would at least get 200oz of silver.

3oz of silver gets you a month of housing, food and necessities in Venezuela.

It's one of my favorites, for various reasons. Holo is second best waifu, right behind my own of course.

And of course I couldn't resist taking this shot with the heroine of /pmg/'s approved Anime of choice.
