this is the nicest Ir ounce bar ive found online. sadly its from Switzerland. there is a domestic supplier https://www.rwmmint.com/ but its outrageous in price. as for why; its super rare, and because i can. they have an Osmium round they sell for half as much also. ive debated getting into Rhenium for a while. Its far more rare than gold but its only industrially used. worse yet is its replaceable and highly recyclable. the main use ive seen is in nickle alloys for turbine blades, jet engines. dont really feel like many of those are going to be in demand
