I hired on as a dishwasher at Pizza Hut. I was promoted to cook in a week. I made shift manager in less than a month. I was asst manager in two months and interim district manager in a year. I married, started a catering business, divorced, became homeless again, had kids, went back to college, married again, had more kids, and got into government contracting for the millions.

it was a random process but I've been homeless a few times and always got back up. Employment is the key. If you have a job you can always find a place to live, a woman to fuck, and a new opportunity to pursue.
