This post is kind of autistic, but still true. Outside of just being genetically better than your peers, the single biggest advantage your can give your kids over their peers is a stable, 2 parent home where the adults in the house act like adults and realize that there are more important things than them and what they want in the moment. The single biggest issue kids have in learning isn't having dyslexia or the teacher not liking them, its not having parents that will hold them accountable for learning and be involved in their development and education.

If anything, all the home learning that we've had to recently has just driven this point home. The kids whose parents didn't make them do HW are the ones whose parents are now baffled at why they can't seem to learn.
