The reason civilization is collapsing is because the only way to get a good job is to be either an asskisser or a charismabot (or a woman), not to be actually good at your job. And no one trains anymore.

Waiting isn't going to do that for you. That type of job keeps you going with camaraderie and constant movement and tips, even if the clientele sucks. Get a job at CVS on top of that, then you can truly claim to have felt the despair of the wagie.
