The reason people are pointing out the basic instructions written in the playbook is because TRUMP DIDN'T FOLLOW THEM.
https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/25/trump-coronavirus-national-security-council-149285

>That faggot did jack and shit to prepare the US for a pandemic
Except, you know, the playbook, the pandemic response team established in the Ebola aftermath, that CDC position in China...

>because he also did absolutely nothing to stock the federal reserve of PPE
Trump has been president for over 3 years. If the stockpile isn't what it should be at this point, that's entirely on him.

>Also cute how we pretend like you can just push a button and produce hundreds of millions of tests for a brand new virus when ALL of the original tests were about as accurate as reading tea leaves.
Except the WHO test which worked fine. Oh yeah, remember Obama having to deal with H1N1 in 2009? They had functioning tests within two weeks of the first US case. Meanwhile Trump spent all of February and March lying about how "anyone who wants a test can get a test," and how the tests were "perfect, much like the transcript," and how there would be drive-through testing widely available everywhere. In actuality America has lagged behind basically every other developed nation in terms of testing.

He could have done far better with PPEs if he'd invoked the defense production act sooner, or not told states to fend for themselves and then bought PPEs and ventilators out from under their noses, or not given his fucking incompetent jewish son-in-law a key position coordinating supplies/logistics.
