Being neet is cool if you have regime and doing some meaningful things like reading, doing projects, making art, music or whatever and have at least some goals in life. I was freelancer for 6 years, worked 1 week per month, sometimes less or not worked at all. Shit was cash for the first 1.5 years, then real shit started: wake up at 19PM, go back sleep at 9AM, go outside once a week to buy groceries and cigarettes. Started ignoring everyone, even my family, lost bunch of friends. Then one day my old boss called and asked me if I want to join the team (IT) again, I agreed without any hesitation, however I had to take antidepressants for a year, since I became paranoid retard during my neet days. Anyway, i'm wagecuking for 4 years now, bought my own apartment, invested some money in p2p, pm and crypto, got a gf, started lifting, lost 20kg. If i'm ever going back to being neet, I will be planning my activities more seriously this time. Watching anime, playing Diablo 2, eating tendies and sleeping 12 hrs per day is cool, but not for a long period of time, you have to do something challenging.
