dude there are no secret agents manipulating the forums. Even if there were, they would have a minimal effect.

What are you seeing is public sentiment, nothing more or less. You should take note of what they think because it's a glimpse into the mind of 90% of the NPC population.
They are fickle though, and can adapt their mind when the situation changes. If you can predict what they're going to do next, or even steer them towards it; you can profit off of it.

I'm guessing most of you only starting stacking in the last 2 years or so. You are a victim of this very "steering". Stacking gold/silver probably was not an organic idea you created out of nowhere. Someone groomed you to think this way after the gamestop thing. I am 100% sure of this, and even I am a victim. My only cope is that I sort of thought it was a good idea and that I always liked coins as a kid.

However, we were taken advantage of - and silver is a bad investment. There is something like 1 BILLION oz mined per year. You could have an ebic comex drain of 1.5 million every single day for a year - 1.5 x 365 = ~550 and still not reach the 1 BILLION. Not only that but there's no real practical use for silver outside of "selling it to some other dude for higher". It's too expensive to craft stuff out of it, and it's not really a noble metal since it tarnishes. Only specific chemical reactions are the exception, and perhaps the rare use of silver-solder on 2 conflicting metal types. Copper fills every physical use you could think of for silver and is only like 6% worse at it and 2$/lb.

If you wanted to collect shiny rocks I think you unironically should of been buying gold or something more exotic like PGM/rhenium/bismuth(?)

Silver will continue to crab for a decade while the "silverbacks" gradually sell off their hoard and the world supply rises year-after-year.

Your only hope is ultra long-term, even then it's a cope since it's a PITA to sell.
