Ever heard of OPEC? Think they're being honest about never limiting oil production? Bullshit. Years ago, US domestic production was making significant gains, because gas prices had been skyhigh for over a decade.
That's when OPEC stepped on and opened the spigot. The market was flooded with oil. Cheap prices, meaning it was better to buy from the Saudis than keep investing in domestic.
