I live in a flyover state and a 1,200 population town.

Pros: Fresh air, can drive drunk around with relatively no consequence, tons of outdoorsy activities to do, people are relatively friendly, relatively safe area, beautiful All American summers, lots of camaraderie based drinking, I own my house

Cons: Nobody to fucking date (the bar is literally the same 30-40 something year old roasties getting fought over by every man in town), nowhere to fucking eat so you better learn to cook, everything is a long fucking drive if you wanna get to the city, a good 20% of people have a drug problem, horrible The Shining-esque winters, lots of camaraderie based drinking
