Defi loans, derivatives.
Openlaw is literally building smart contract agreements using ethereum and chainlink as we speak.
Even enterprise solutions like Microsoft Azure are going to make a bigger plunge into crypto soon.
Lloyd's of london released a writeup showcasing how much more efficient insurance can be with smartcontracts. (https://www.lloyds.com/news-and-risk-insight/press-releases/2019/07/parametric-insurance-and-smart-contracts-to-improve-customer-experience-new-lloyds-reports-find))
These are just a few examples, there are far more.

Don't get me wrong, there is still a way to go before full, enterprise adoption. But many companies are either developing or researching the tech as we speak. You retards just don't read news.

mainnet will be finished in early 2020.
chainlink already has dozens of partners (actually hundreds really if the breadcrumbs are true) ready to jump in once it's done. it can't really be used until service agreement is finished.

2020 mass adoption of smart contracts.

Also, go to B3i website, their talking about saving 30%. You guys have to be blind if you don’t think companies will adopt almost instantly with 30% savings.

2,000,000 after taxes is enough to “make it” in the states. 3.5% yearly returns are guaranteed if you let a decent financial advisor manage your portfolio. That means 70k yearly, more than any NEET should need.

So it’s not about the number of LINK really, because no one knows the future price. I think $100 is realistic by EOY 2020 and maybe even conservative, so for me “making it” means about 26k.

19 year old NEETS with their entire lives ahead, 5k-10k could even be enough. We will go higher than $100/LINK it will just take a few years. Some are in a better position to wait.

All these factors, and some others should be considered when asking that question OP, and there’s no real right answer that fits everyone.

2020 is mainstream adoption, but by end of 2018 we will have major players announcing partnerships with chainlink.

this is all working on speculation, you don"'t have to have a finished product for the singularity, just an announcement can be enough to spark a huge price pump.

the mainnet is going to be huge, the few months following it will be epic for link holders
