Why in the fuck would you make a slim version more expensive?

I remember fondly back in the mid/late 2000's when the PS2 slim came out. It had a significant price drop and by that time there were a TON of PS2 games that were good. Getting a $99 PS2 slim was a bargain.

Nowadays? PS5 ain't got shit that's worth it. Not even Demon's Souls remake. Video game industry is pretty fucked anyway with the looming recession that's gonna bfto out of consumers and streamers alike.
