Would a CFA help me get better postions fin-tech jobs?

I currently work in a firm that provides an in-house software for fixed income analytics. I work as an analyst dealing with client challenges on analytics and calculations our software provides. I also supervise 4 junior analysts that do more operational tasks.

I am looking to change jobs for higher pay and will take the CFA level 2 exam in a few days. Do you guys think having the CFA will show potential employers that i am more competent in finance or will it not take me anywhere?

I know having the CFA can only help me, but was just wondering what your thoughts are /biz/
