Hello /biz/, young Canadian fag here with some questions about some possible career choices.

So I've basically ruled out anything besides the more professional side of business for my career. I'm definitely a numbers guy, none of this marketing or HR bullshit that people call a real profession. So that basically puts down my options to Accounting or something in Finance. Do any /biz/-fags have any advice about either field. If I were to go into Finance, what would you guys recommend? As far as I understand the field is very broad, stretching everything from Investment Banking (I heard those guys get absolutely fucked in the first 2 or 3 years) to Securities. I think I'd rather prefer Accounting, as it seems like more of a sure thing, but I think I long for the excitement that Finance can bring.
