that's your problem. many of us have been here since May, if you'd participated in those threads you'd have known why we believe a $1 LUNC is FUD. you're missing 4 months of discussions and debate where we dissected every single new snippet of info a hundred times over as it came out. there were entire threads that went by in debate over a single statement by one of the TR devs, or a TFL tweet, or some random news report about LUNC from Korea. the Grim Reaper saga, the Do Kwon escape to Singapore, the lawsuits and investigations, the Anchor mismanagement, the 80k BTC wallet-washing, the Mandarin Manhunter shitposts and Twitter feuds, the constant back-and-forth about price points and how it all ties together into the revival efforts, the USTC repeg for business defi as part of the next bullrun, etc. etc. etc.

you're so far behind the curve I'd need an entire day to bring you up to speed, and it still wouldn't be enough.

LUNC isn't a shitcoin. ignoring the hyperinflation of the token, and Do Kwon's antics, LUNC has a fast and cheap transaction fee, as well as its own blockchain. and it used to be a top-10 coin just over 3 months ago. I agree with you in general that many people are viewing it as a pump and dump, but you also have to remember that a lot of very rich and powerful groups got fucked over in the crash and lost tons of money, Binance being just one of them. it's in everyone's interest to see this thing go to $1, and up from there... all that needs to be done is burning through the supply, bringing more utility to the chain (there's a great HCC interview with Zaradar about this where he talks about business defi during the next blockchain), and possibly repegging USTC while patching out any similar future exploits. if the devs can do that, and keep Do Kwon from fucking it up, then LUNC really does have long-term potential.
