Listen, I am not a naive person by any stretch of the imagination, and that naivete has been beaten out of me the hard way every time. Whoring is NOT as invisible as mass-media would have you believe (in a world of such permissibility, it's conspicuously overlooked) but that is 1000000% a ridiculous, overblown story. Even bajilionaires know the value of a dollar, and top-dollar whores are WAY cheaper than what you've described. That girl was lying to you, and lying to friend who passed the lie on and on to you. She was getting money to get fucked, sure, but those numbers are pure horseshit. The kind of a lie that only a 23-year-old would think is believable. Like when I was 8 years old and telling my parents that someone "hacked" the family computer to google "swimsuit girls". The first person a liar deceives is themselves; after that, every deception comes easily. You're just gullible.
