When searching for jobs, what should prevent you from applying from a job you think you'd like/want? Generally I've been steering clear of jobs that I don't meet the minimum education requirement for (I have a bachelor's) or the experience quota (I have none in the field I want).

I was just wondering if this is just common sense or I should just put forth the effort anyway on the offchance nobody eligible has applied. Still, I can't help but get exhausted submitting applications and never hearing back from anybody.
