Pompliano proved to be correct, and O'leary proved to be the schmuck he is
I suspect O'leary is being disingenuous and has a bigger position in crypto than he is willing to admit and is actively fudding it to allow more time for accumulation
Furthermore, O'leary's statement on the halvening being a "game" is an idiotic one
the halvening has to do with the issuance of bitcoin and the the inflation rate
it is supposed to approximate an asymptotic curve and it is that reason which drives the halvening frequency
of course he probably knows that and is just being a facetious asshole for the reasons I listed above
pure speculation on my part but Pompliano clearly read that book (hint: I did as well, back in 2017)
