"everyone living in reality knows this thing" isn't an argument
if you're trying to tell me that capitalism isn't the correct term for what i'm talking about, then you're just arguing semantics at that point
the fact of the matter is, what i'm talking about is 100% totally unbridled capitalism
it is because of the individualist principles of capitalism that it, as a system, can be used to most directly address the fact that nature is the one party that is constantly applying force *everywhere* and that to keep other people beholden to you and your political party by force introduces the (rather cruel) inefficiency of having the people who are most able to address the problems nature brings them at the mercy of the government's decision to recognize and address these problems in the manner of and at the pace of government, while the people who aren't able to do any of this stuff just don't give a shit anyway and get wasted and party
because they don't care

because, in the end, the only thing that regulation does is bring people down to the level of the lowest common denominator

the thing that most communists or socialists that AREN'T inherently bad people are actually looking for—the answer to the problem of greed and corruption that they recognize—is freedom of disassociation. the ability to separate yourself economically from shitty people who treat themselves and their children and everything their family owns like shit, treat others like shit, spend their money like shit and incentivize shitty business practices, and perform shitty work. imagine what having no minimum wage laws would do to these people.

nobody is assigned a role in a single national hierarchy—you have to earn each and every thing that you want
most importantly, you get what you earn—and because the most productive are free to produce goods how they want to, there's tons of variety and competition in the marketplace, and so goods are cheap and earning your living is very easy

oh my FUCK that image is based
THAT is utterly eye-opening, as is >>15506173.
amazing how insanely prosperous we were in something that much more closely resembled true free-market capitalism. no wonder young people were able to afford their own gorgeous houses within two years of work, even with the comparatively archaic technology of the time that made completing tasks in ANY industry more manual, and more difficult. they, as well as everyone else across the country, was working with and dealing in money backed by gold. it was essentially sovereign money, free from central manipulation.

now, this needs to be said—
imagine being able to work for six months.
SIX.
MONTHS.
JUST SIX MONTHS. NOT THIRTY-SIX YEARS (PLUS SEVERAL YEARS WITH INTEREST CHARGES, AMOUNTING TO OVER FORTY YEARS), BUT SIX GODDAMNED MONTHS. THE AMOUNT OF TIME THAT PASSES SEEMINGLY IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE TO THE NIGH-IMPOVERISHED, AIMLESS YOUNG PERSON WHO RIGHTFULLY FEELS AS IF THE WORLD'S AGAINST THEM AND THEY HAVEN'T A HOPE IN HELL OF LIVING A MEANINGFUL LIFE,
and being able to afford a perfectly reasonable home—

for you,

your wife,

and your children.

your neighbors, all working-class people. kind and dignified, who respect themselves as they do you. the kind of people who return tools that you lend to them, with baskets of fruit from their property's trees as thanks.
the nearest heroin den is in an entirely separate country. the nearest genius is in your home, practicing violin in his room after hanging out with friends.

the year is 2050.

for reference, this image is traceable back to searsarchives.com/homes/1921-1926.htm.

gentlemen—as society strays further from our ancestors' wisdom daily, may we continue to understand, intrinsically, that our ability to freely disassociate ourselves from people whose main intention as collectivists is to legally enslave us is of utmost importance. let communism starve itself.

six months.
