Just dump it dude. Oracle are a decade away, potentially even longer. Don't succumb to the sunken cost fallacy.

Sergey is going on vacations with ICO money and giving presentations to empty rooms to keep the charade going as long as possible. They've done close to no real work on this project and haven't attempted to hire anyone who's even remotely worth a shit. They just feed stinkers enough crumbs to convince them to keep putting their paychecks into a white paper. And the whale's on here just swing trade to take small profits to live off of. Once the music stops they'll still dump at a profit all while telling biz to buy the dip. Just savage tbqh senpai.

You don't need that in your life anymore. Just walk away. Trust me, the BAT gains will offset any losses you had.

Realistically, what would happen to Chainlink's valuation if Sergey got hit by a bus? Seems like a single point of failure.

I get that sometimes a meme is just a meme. And after all, this isn't reddit. It's expected that you come here with a thick skin. But I've been trading LINK since basically the very beginning (post IPO but before it took up half the posts on /biz/ in a given hour). And we need to discuss one meme in particular.

See pic related. What is supposed to be funny about this - photoshopping Sergey to be fat? So we can cruelly deride him for something millions of people struggle with, just so we can be spiteful and negative about at least one thing? I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not here to be hurtful. I believe in the underlying technology, I'm enthusiastic about it, and I want us all to make it. These jokes aren't getting us there faster.

Who on this planet doesn't know that being fat is unhealthy? Seriously, who? Even if they have no access to information on obesity in any kind, which is virtually impossible in the Western world, anybody who is sweating when they climb the stairs can see for themselves that they aren't in great shape.

Is it to motivate them to get better? Because that seems extremely counterproductive when one of the major causes of obesity is stress eating. You know what how to make a stress eater fatter? Shame them. Moreover, fat shaming can create such a paranoia of becoming fat that it leads to an increase in eating disorders, which are just as, if not more, unhealthy.

What exactly is the fat shaming needed for? So Sergey sees these posts and his feelings are hurt? How does that help LINK's valuation?

I love the LINK community, and I'm not anti-meme, but at a certain point you have to recognize when your jokes are basically harming LINK (and our chances at a real moonshot) more than they're helping.

It is actually a part of his performance. I shit you not, but he eats that burger in two bites. He always does that to energize the audience before his presentation. They go absolutely insane when he does it. You can hear gasping and loud mumbling, as they sit in disbelief as to what they just saw. Sergey then says "You would never in your wildest dream belive that what you just saw is possible. You will think the same about the presentation, but it's true, all of it". He immediately follows up with a very long, almost neverending gurgling fart. This is ensued by dead silence as the crowd again is in disbelief and shock, and not sure how to react. That's when Rory starts slow clapping from the back of the room while leaning nonchalantly against the wall. The audience follow his lead and it ends in a standing ovation. People are are cheering, clapping and even praising Sergey with their arms and head stretched towards him with blissfull faces. The energy in the room moons, and some of the ladies are crying and even fainting.

This man is, as Scott Adams would put it, a master persuader.

just talked to sergey yesterday and he told me an interesting tidbit. he said: "the reason we call smart contracts "trustless" is because nobody trusts them. if you've ever done one of the ether ponzis, you'd know how easy it is to program a fault in them. it's pretty epic."

holy shit, what a mad man XD then he tried to shill me on one of the ether ponzis (he loves these) but i passed on it. did i make the right choice?
