When I was a kid, we adopted a void boi and he was a young kitty cat. I loved him but we kept moving from apartment to apartment and it made finding places a problem. Even worse, he was very loud in the night and early morning, which I had no actual idea how to resolve with me being 13 and inexperienced with pet ownership. It was enough for my mom to force me to return him back to a shelter. I've been waiting for years to be in a position to afford a friend in terms of food and medical costs and make sure no one can remove him from me by buying a house or having enough money to never worry about living conditions. It wouldn't be fair for me to adopt a younger cat knowing he can find a family much more successfully.
