It came out that management filed a patent for a cage to protect workers from machines going haywire, pic related (minus wojak of course). Instead, I believe they ended up going with a design for a vest that shuts off machines if they get too close to the worker. Obviously most companies will overspend on things like patents to secure a broad range of options for technology, but you have to think twice about the humanity of someone who thought it was a passable idea to put workers in cages like this.

Guys, I'm constantly sick because of this fucking cold warehouse. I'm bringing tissues from home but there is now way to dispose them until end of my shift, so I keep them in my pockets.

The moisture is slowly creeping up to my crotch and its really uncomfortable. I have tried to put them in my back pockets but then my butt gets really wet because I can't stand up in the box.

I started bringing water bottles in my bag.

When the supervisor is in the other cage section, I just pee in empty bottle, then store it in my bag so no one notices.

By doing this I don't need to call the supervisor to let me out. The supervisor seems to notice my lack of neediness, and tells me I'm doing a good job.

But honestly I get too much anxiety talking to people, so peeing in the bottles allow me to talk to less people.
