Nice stuff anon, do you remember the attribution for the $35 Greek bronze? I don't recognize that one. The chonky bronze from Syracuse is clearly an older collection coin, it definitely got fondled and loved years ago. It could probably benefit from judicious cleaning, details look sharp but seem a bit obscured by ancient dirt and more recent finger grease.

>Yep, their tactics are getting cringier by the day.

I think it's much more interesting to show off new slurps than post the same old pics or discuss the same old macro perspectives over and over again.

>Copper is absolutely a precious metal fren :) it's funny how shills seethe.

Good to see more topwit copper-appreciators here, YGMI.

>any idea what this could be?

yep, it's a bronze with a Janiform female head, from Rhegion in Bruttium. Probably worth $25-30 if you're not trying to be a jew, nothing too special but a cool coin with an appealing well-struck and centered obverse

Can't complain about the price, but if it was real why would the thrift store hunter give it away? hard to tell from the pics but if what I see is plating wear-through and some mild tarnish on the exposed underlying metal then there's a good chance it's sterling silver which would make it a decent consolation prize at least.

>Gaul silber

Gotta git yourself some Greco-Gallic Massalian silbers fren. I have a cast Celtic bronze coin from a tribe in Gaul floating around in this copperchad pile somewhere.
