I have an interview for a high responsibility job coming soon (the kind where they'll shove an anal probe up your ass mid-questioning just to see how you react to stressful situations). Are there any books you have read that truly helped you nail such interviews ?

What is it with all the bullshit job postings?

I've already turned down employers on the basis that the managerial positions they were advertising were bullshit covers for sales/telemarketing gigs.

Does this strategy actually work? how many folks actually spend the time and money to complete a college degree to then take up one of these glorified mcjobs under pressure?

I've got my first interview ever next week with an international law firm I applied to. So /biz/ how should I prepare for it (or just wing it?), bearing in mind its an online interview?

My biggest worry is them asking some stupid question along the lines of 'which historical figure would you want to have dinner with?' or something like that. I can deal with the more traditional competency questions but not those.
