>it's still crazy to me how a genius like vitalik couldn't understand the importance of oracles

They simply made their own because it's easy to do.

No one needs a massive 650 million premine ICO shitcoin like LINK to run secure API feeds.

>Hurrr hurr everyone that knows LINK is a shitcoin well past its prime is a masochist FUDing his own bags

This is why I come here since 2019 and defecate on the Reddit-tier bagholder community that has formed from the remnants of those who failed to sell above $30.
I can feel the mental anguish and despair under the false veneer of conviction and confidence.

Ah, the power of shitcoins.
Did we learn anything?

There is one crypto and then there's worthless shitcoins.
Next time don't trade your Satoshis away for something worthless. Shitcoins have an intrinstic value of zero. ALL of them.

In the US there are 4,844 federally-regulated and insured banks. A few of them crash routinely. Then the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. arrives in town, takes over the assets, bails out depositors and oversees a merger with a stronger bank. Yawn.

Buy and hold BTC. Get out of shitcoins.

Tether is not fiat you moron.

No government enforces the redemption value of this shitcoin.

It's literally a digital IOU shitcoin, with ALLEGED reserves held by some flakey banks in Panama which claim their money has been seized by other banks and governments, and now it's also secured by a Line of Credit which Bitfinex issued TO THEMSELVES, from the ALLEGED reserves that were held in trust by Tether, who are in fact one and the same entity.

AYYY LMAOOO

>CZ seems legit

The guy who peddles Chink pump and dumps run by his family and friends and who doesn't even have any formal fiat gateways due to legal concerns?

Don't kid yourself, Kraken is basically the only legitimate exchange that doesn't engage in illegal behavior on a daily basis.

CZ isn't as smart as everyone thinks. He will get wiped out on a big trade one day and will go insolvent when the dynamics of the market change.

ICO holder here, went from 3 cents to 1.20 back to 3 cents without flinching.

I'm selling when the White paper is actually realized and there is revenue generated from transactions. It's really simple.

Sure I could have used the 2017 pump and dump to cash out or multiply my stack, but everyone has a crystal clear path with the benefit of hindsight, and I was not around a computer from Christmas to the first days of January.

Come at me bitch nigger.

XRP is babby's first crypto for most of the newfriends.

It's not crypto. It's not a share.

If you want to invest in Fintech with REAL revenue and real business, just buy stocks in Square Inc.

XRP is a pre-mined shit token that not even Ripple supports. It's literally Jedbagtokens.

Yeah, I've been in since the post-ICO dip, and honestly, it feels the same now as it did last year in October. REQ was around 3 cents, BTC just emerging out of the China FUD and fork FUD.

And REQ is now further down the road technically speaking, no longer just a white paper and a java button, and the CEO just said they plan to monetize the service in early 2019.

Feeling fucking good about this boys, for the first time in a long time.

Wish I had the balls to day trade the swings and increase my stack, but sitting on 400K.

I've been FUDing REQ non-stop since late January, but now that I see that they really are developing a pretty nice eco-system and a growing number of software developers committing to build crypto apps on top of their platform, it seems like this thing might really take off, and the prospect of crossing over fiat-crypto transactions is still out there with stablecoins or oracles. Too bad Sergey is a fat piece of shit without any training in programming, because he's taking forever.
