LINK had none of those. The team made every effort to avoid hype. They didn't make a single Tweet in 4 months, and made one single announcement in the last 5 months. They haven't announced any partnerships; they let their partner do it, and then just went back into their secret little cave. They even hired devs in November and lead everyone to believe that they were only 2 people working on the project. They were the definition of anti-hype, and the opposite of what everyone were looking for when they seeked out their next 300% overnight project.

We understand that this is a ticking time bomb. Sergey has made it clear that marketing will only become a priority once the mainnet is near, and up until then, the main focus will be on tech and developing relationships with serious businesses. And as the team has said, those serious businesses don't appreciate when the team Tweets every single little thing they talk about.
