How does cryptocurrency affect the USD, EURO, etc?
Ive been thinking about this for a while. If crypto got big enough, wouldn't it inflate a countries currency? If I put $10 into btc and make $100 then cash out, I literally just created $90 out of thin air that I will go on to spend in society. There is now $90 that is circulating which otherwise wouldn't. Multiply that to the billions and eventually trillions and now you're getting an influx of money into a market where it just.. exists. When I look at it from that perspective, it kind of makes sense for a country to want to regulate it. I'm still going to buy cryptocurrency for my own personal gain, but it could have some pretty astronomical effects.
