In general, I would attribute unbalanced survival mechanisms overshadowing our aptitude to understand truth, as right. Albeit this doesn't denigrate the need to understand conservatism, since survival biases are inevitable and must be carefully selected to survive around fractals of structures which may or may not be sufficiently developed to be loving.
