LUNC is still fudded here on biz, it's practically unknown outside it. it's also being suppressed on CMC's 24h volume listings (it currently sits around #5 or #6, but it's not shown at all). retail hasn't even begun to buy into LUNC. there's also a bunch of crypto bros sitting on the sidelines and waiting for the burn tax to go live, just like a bunch of people waited for staking to go live before buying in despite the work and info having announced it weeks ago. the bigger youtube channels aren't talking about it either. once real FOMO starts this current volume and price action will look like a blip on a flea's ass. we'll see $1 by EoY, mark my words... then it'll blast past that towards $3 before settling back around $1.5 again.

I've staked 10 milly out of my 26 milly stack, but the rewards are thinning out pretty fast as more people delegate. it's not really worth it at this point IMHO. that will change once LUNC starts approaching $1, so I'll just keep my coins parked there for the next bullrun.

but yeah, generally speaking you shouldn't stake more than half your bag, the other half should be split among cexes and laddered for sales depending on your personal exit points.

Throw $1000 into Luna Classic, that'll buy you about 10 million coins. Then forget about it for 2-3 years. Worst case scenario, you lose a thousand bucks. Best case, coin goes to $1+ and you end up with at least $10 million.
