I have come to conlusion after a bunch of testing that stop losses are useful in very specific cases but should not be used as an automatic thing on every trade. The best time I have found to use them if when you're getting close to selling time but the chart hasn't quite shown you the things you need to see to confirm it. Around there you slap on a stop loss fairly snug, either on a fraction of your position or the whole thing depending, and wait for the signal. Doing this backtests pretty good on my stuff.

That’s exactly why America is fucking awesome though. The weak will be devoured by the driven no matter how much of a handicap they started with. The the driven and ambitious can succeed here more easily than any other country.

A classmate of mine in med school literally came to the US as a nanny from Argentina; learned English here and crammed hard at a junior college while here at night before finally enrolling in a Uni and then getting into med school. She’s now a doctor, prestigious job with good money and she literally came here as a nanny who couldn’t speak English

Or look at people like Arnold Schwarzenegger and how he made.

It’s unfair starting points and there’s a lot of luck involved but at least in the US you generally can make it with grit and you don’t automatically stay rich by just being born rich

Greetings from /tv/.
What is the significance of -3%? Is it "only -3%" or is it "buy guns and ammo, because we just hit -3%"?
