I've been here a couple of months and I'm baffled this topic has not come up once: How do I invent/create a coin?
It can't be that hard considering a significant portion of the less popular coins are made by random third worlders. Just invent a coin and keep a lot for yourself, then when the price goes up you automatically get rich. Just call it bullshit coin and wait, it worked for that coin that is literally a stale 9gag meme.

It is fine to sell in order to take profits in fiat but here is the thing. All these people saying crypto is "ded" are turning their backs on a 100% populous revolution that is demanding a free market in money and the death to central banking. It is foolish to just throw your positive attiudes towards crypto away when it's one of the only things giving you a chance to opt out of the fiat debt system that has enslaved you. Don't forget what's going on monetarily in this sick world we lived in. Stay positive.

So, what does /biz/ think about crypto groups like this: https://discord gg/Z8P8VJp

I understand there are pump & dump groups, where only the paid members and the founders make money, because they shill coins to the free members, which they sell them for a higher price than they paid.

But there are groups (like the one above), which just analyze the crypto markets and tell their members, which coin will rise in the next days/weeks/months. All of the members can profit from it. Any downsides?

Since Alts are crashing harder than BTC (as in, they are losing their BTC value), will they bounce harder to compensate or will they bleed even more? Wasn't here for the other crashes, what usually happens with alts, historically?

Will the JUSTing ever stop?

Alright, so after having originally heard about BTC back in the early days of the darknet (SR1) and obviously only buying and then immediately using small amounts of BTC, I'm committed to the HODL philosophy from now on. Especially now that I'm fresh out of college and about to get a salaried job.

What are the best coins to invest in right now? Particularly if only interested in the long-term integrity of said coin, and also considering I have not much to invest.

So far, I specifically like:
>Monero: completely anonymous. Talked about all over the DNM subreddit and probably poised to become the exclusive crypto of The Next Big Market.
>Ether(eum): only recently invested in this one unfortunately, but the platform underneath ETH speaks for itself and holds a lot of promise.

Ones I'm not sure about, but watching closely:
>Cripple: invested since still cheap, and soon to be the NWO coin of the dystopian cyberpunk technocratic future. Also like the lofty IoT/IoV integration prospect they're pushing.
>Safex: has the same anonymoose advantage as Monero, but with the added bonus of a solid platform on which future, decentralized DNMs might get really big. Only recently heard about this one, don't know much about it. Might buy a bunch though since it's cheaper than dirt.
>Litecoin: "better bitcoin"; however it's been around for a while, and now with BCH (and plenty of other cryptos) offering the same type of advantages (low fee/fast tx), as well as doubts about Lightning network, not so sure here.
>Iota: seems to me to be similar to LTC's advantages. Fast and nimble tx's. Not sure what exactly sets it apart in a big way

Any others I've missed? I only today discovered that /biz/ is basically cryptocurrency general. Till now I've been pretty much doing research only on reddit, putting up with the circlejerk of downvoting potentially useful criticisms so it's all TO THE MOON BUY BUY BUY. What are the ACTUAL solid investments?

Why are there so many altcoins? What is the reason so many "coins" get valued xx cents?

Is it all just a scam? Is it all just air we are buying and selling?

I know you guys think LiteCoin is legit because of its price but keep in mind the majority of fucking assholes on here made a fortune shilling, pumping and dumping getting rich off new fags so that they can now afford a good coin which is going to be shilled just like it is lately and then be dumped and forgotten cause it's no different than ETH or BTC other than being a little faster which doesn't mean shit cause there's undervalued shit coins that are faster than LTC

Good luck buying into this shit and getting scammed by the scammers that you made rich and now can afford bigger shit
