In crypto, it's as simple as gambling on the right coin at the right time. Even with ridiculously small amounts like $5, you can reach places but it requires more luck than dedication. Also, /biz/ is in a weird position in regards to money-making opportunities involving cryptocurrencies, because the moderation and janitors in charge of this board will not allow any thread made to discuss a specific shitcoin outside of the top 50.

If you are financially comfortable enough to consider having at least 6 figures in your crypto portfolio without putting your expenses and savings at risk, then there's nothing wrong with that. On the other hand, if you are like most people looking to realize sizeable gains starting from under 6, 5 or even 4 figures, then you'll be stuck. It always pains my heart to see newfags in portfolio threads stuck bagholding coins with little upside potential, blindly following advice they find here which may not necessarily be applicable to their specific needs. Worse yet, those convinced that the bags they are holding will reach astronomical highs without understanding basic market psychology or notions like market capitalization.

To multiply your chances of making money in crypto you'll have to broaden your scope and not only rely on /biz/ which can sometimes catch gems early or be very useful to ascertain overall market sentiment. I recommend you to join the @CryptoClownClub telegram group made by /biz/ frens, in which both complete shitcoins and serious projects can be discussed without judgment as long as they are not blatant scams.
