Oh wow, you are actually fucking stupid. I will let someone else point out why, I know their are other RLChads here who can't resist the urge.

It starts with e and ends with C.

Dumbass fucking faggot. NSMDO. Your ngmi

This is pure stupidity at this stage. I don't care if you buy or not; I'm sick of trying to help my fellows on /biz/.

Just remember this: February 21, 2021 RLC will be $100 per barrel. Cap this.

What is required to actually profit from running an RLC Worker?

From the discussions I remember about running chainlink nodes back in 2018, and the realities of that not exactly coming to fruition two years later... I'm skeptical that RLC will be the same. Where it's "feasible" but the barrier to entry is a lot higher if you want to actually profit versus waste electricity running a neet node.

So, what is required to truly profit? I have a server rack, and maybe about 175GHz of total CPU power spread out over nine servers - will that be enough for a chance in this game, or is it still need-node tier? The best internet available to residential premises here is a 1GB fibre link to the premises. I'm also concerned about security, and wondering if I will need to lock down the node with an enterprise grade firewall (e.g. Palo Alto), or will something like pfsense or opnsense be good enough?

So, how much will I need to spend in order to truly profit and accept RLC in exchange for decentralized computation? What is the best method to go about this?

I figure something along the lines of:

> Server Rack (Not sure how many RU at this stage)
> 10 Servers: Not sure what kind of hardware to go with at this stage. Figure probably one of AMD's newest server-class CPU's. But not sure due to the current "dual core" limitations of iexec-rlc workers and inefficiencies if I'm running for example 62 x 2 Core VM's on a 128 Core AMD CPU, leaving 4 Cores for running ESXi or maybe Hyper-V.
> Dedicated Firewall (Either Palo Alto or something like pfsense) + L2 24 Port Switch: Configure a separate VLAN for the server cluster running iExec workers and lock it down to just the ports and protocols required

Would 12 ~ 16K be enough to get into the "RLC Worker Enterprise" game, or am I going to need more? Like an office space, UPS, the works?

Anyone else done or attempting to do this?
