For anyone just coming through Brave is currently doing the volume that took Duckduckgo 8 years to get up to with their search engine and did it in 1.5 years. And Brave is finally launching ads, soon BAT will be funneled through the search ads system. Although I think it's just beta and ads don't pay BAT yet. IMO the search engine will be bigger eventually than the browser.

Brave has a feature called playlist on iOS which you can use to download videos and save for later from all over thr internet. They should be adding it on android eventually. That with background video playback would be everything they offer in youtube premium for free.

I think it's the community making that sort of thing, not people who can actually fix the problems. They are hiring engineers.
