i told this to my dad and he got all offended and called me a retard. apparently in his times they would teach children that they are all unique, and that simply by existing they are special (different from the bullshit diversity uniqueness they teach today which is actually just race politics that teaches kids to think with their skin types and not their minds/hearts). I guess it all depends on how you look at it, right? Factually, every bug, cat, and dog IS special because they exist, and existence is quite a weird thing. I'm rambling now, but what I would like to suggest, is that if you believe that your existence is meaningless, and that your experience is literally equal to a fucking cat or cockroach, then how do you expect to ever be happy in life? You are probably a miserable human being, as is 99% of this board. Because true and lasting change starts at being told that you ARE special, and that your life IS worth something. And lets face it, we live in a world where every single one of us is just a cog on the wheel, we are about as gray as gray comes. And if you ask me, there in lay the secret to happiness - to escape this system and live your life to the fullest and do what makes you happy and makes you feel special and fulfilled. Anon, I know you may not think it, but i think you are very special. You were born with a tragic gift of conscious and awareness. And you have skills and hobbies and interests, you are not just an animal that exists to consoom and reproduce. Please change that nihilistic attitude and try to project your creativity onto the world to leave something positive for future generations. If you (we [our generation]) gives up, well I could not even bare to imagine what kind of world our great grandchildren will wake up to. Perhaps it is too late already, the world is already on fire, but I'm going to give it my all, for my dad. You should too.
