I work at a shitty convenience store/lotto, and let me go ahead and give you the simple but obvious answer of NO. I watch schmucks come in and blow 200 dollars at a time on scratchers and win fucking nothing, and even when they do they just end up buying more lottery tickets, which amounts to more losses than winnings. And then they feel like they have to win it back, so they try again. And again, and again, and again, and again until I don't see them at the store anymore either because they finally wised up or they went completely broke from playing the damn thing.

My theory is that crypto prices move similar to stock prices by the latest profitability changes, only that there is no profit here but price changes. Thus I come to the conclusion that the latest mean performance in relation to the actual performance is a good indicator before either buying or selling a coin.
