Global Energy Monitor (GEM) is a truly nefarious website. It was created by anti-climate change activists to, ideally, catalogue all coal mines on the planet, though they have mainly catalogued Western ones (American, Canadian, Australian). They even have an article on the location of all coal companies' headquarters, and they "monitor" coking/met coal mines too, wanting them shut down because "le carbon is ebil."

I really hate the greens. Their ideal world is definitely devoid of industrial civilization, probably doesn't have agriculture -- so we'd just be hunter-gatherers again like in the Paleolithic -- and most likely includes human extinctions. At least that's the case for the "deep greens," as they sometimes call themselves.
