It only makes sense to hold a large bag rn if you believe crypto will get adopted next cycle, but realistically that won't happen until fiat gets orchestrated to crash and (((they))) conveniently have CBDC's ready to integrate the normies, my guess is in 2 cycles.
I guess if you want a relatively "safe" blue chip sure, as it stands avax outperforms eth by every metric presently. Sam Kikeman is no longer around to manipulate the shit out of it and further suppress (wonderland mafia, joe goons)
But Doge, and every other non-fundamental tokens out-perform it annually showcasing how crypto is still in its infancy
Nobody buys BTC for gains but for a "store of value" and you siphon funds from degen shitcoin gambles into bluechips

2017 ICO mania was fucking insane, and possibly irreplicable
That said there are low mcap gems out there only notable one that I have found thus far being RLC another /biz/ coin
