You could build a whatsapp or twitter clone on holochain that is fully decentralized and distributed, yet the first thing that comes to your mind is Youtube. Literally the most storage demanding app in the world that has been constantly losing money for Google, yet they keep it so they can datamine you and they afford to keep it operational because they make money from other stuff.

To answer you question, yes faggot, you can build Youtube on Holochain but first you have to figure out how to:
- integrate it with IPFS (the team will probably do that at some point so let's skip this one)
- provide the right incentives for people to store your videos (Filecoin?)
- monetize your users to cover the incentives for the hosts and have some profit left for development
- gain user adoption to compete with youtube
- keep up with Google on the UI/UX side of things
- a shitload of other things
If Google hasn't figured out a way yet to make Youtube profitable, do you think your first problem should be if you can build Youtube on Holochain? Neck yourself. If you actually found a way to make Youtube profitable, you'd go build it tomorrow on a centralized hosting solution and become a billionaire. The least of your problems is the tech on which to build that Youtube clone.
