Has /biz/ thought about the future and does anyone else take an extremely pessimistic view?

>low IQ populations expanding while high IQ populations shrinking
>nuclear family disintegrating with more and more young men dropping out of the rat race
>socialist/populist politics extremely popular amongst the soon to be dominant millennial generation

Basically, people will be too dumb or too unmotivated to contribute to society and everyone will be worse off for it. Then fuel will be thrown on the fire when people's quality of life begins diminishing and the electorate will begin electing socialist politicians. Perhaps the pendulum will swing over to authoritarian right wing politicians when socialist policies just make things worse. You can already see a preview for this today with politicians like donald trump, bernie sanders and jeremy corbyn. But this is nothing with what the future holds.

Long term, this spells disaster for global growth (ie. your investments). The back half of the 21st century will be an insane time to be alive. Artificial intelligence is the only X factor which I dont think anyone can predict.
