Why hasn't FTT gone to zero yet?

it just doesn't stop dumping

Steadily, gradually, perfectly. I feel like this is actually just a game of musical chairs right now. I have a feeling these perfectly defined inclines are designed to gradually hunt shorts until it becomes relatively unprofitable.
It hurts to watch but there's zero volatility and it's just following SPX. If it's following SPX then I think this is only a primer for a dump.
I hate investing, I honestly wish I never started with it. Was much happier just working, saving, and enjoying my time outside work.

the reality is this is exactly what a dead cat bounce looks like. everyone thinks they've successfully weathered a bear market and that's all there is to it. frfr its been bussin holding my inflation eroded cash but i know this is a pump prior to things taking a downturn

At 3:59PM Eastern time I bought a bunch of ProShares UltraPro Short QQQ ET.
I sold all of my cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum)
Was this a good idea or a bad idea?
I think it is a good idea for one reason: markets have pumped after a holiday, sentiment is good, but for absolutely no reason.

Then why have markets been down since December and have gone into relative freefall since rate hikes have been pushed out?
This is my first time ever "shorting" the "market." Does anyone have any "tips" for an idiot like me?
