Where a country is so fucked that doctors turn to mining bitcoins to make money.
And I was wondering, would a government backed crypto-currency be bad?
One called the CAD-Coin, with only 10 million CAD-Coins in existence, no more being created. Instead of being backed by nothing,where it could drop to what amounts to 0$ tomorrow for no reason, you could have the government step in and say "we will accept 1 CAD-Coin to 1 Canadian dollar, indefinitely". They would not run it, just give that guarantee.
Would this work? Or is it missing the point of crypto-currencies.

I don't personally do my own taxes, but rather through a family accountant and I found out last year I failed to file my tax return through my family. This year my tax returns were filed and I was given my usual refund; nothing out of the ordinary. What are the repercussions? I normally get a refund and this year has been no different, but there hasn't been anything about last year from the CRA
