I’m have the same positions rn, 90% BTC with about 10% LINK.

ETH will never be ultrasound money because there are HUMAN BEINGS at the controls. It’s an inevitable conclusion. It’s sad that it takes so long for the neophytes on this board to catch on to the fact that BITCOIN is the only true digital scarcity because of its immaculate like conception. I mean… it was a total anomaly. Yet here we are.

There ARE smart contracts on BTC. Any tech from other chains can EASILY be implemented on the Bitcoin network in layers. And it HAS. It’s like an infinite spanning railroad track that spans everywhere and is ultra secure, which will allow open source and private “rail cars” to utilize it however they want.

Yes… for ordinal NFTs, and sound money/value transfer, and military operation, and communication baking. Possibilities are and will be endless.

So I don’t hold any smart contract projects because they are far too high a risk (interesting tech, but no long term outlook as the risk they’ll be around or not is too high). SEC will come slamming down and take ETH to maybe $250, then many will realize when it’s too late.

For something like LINK, I realize that even in a Bitcoin dominated landscape, there will be a need to:

1) provide oracle data on chain
2) communicate between the other blockchains (private, public, educational, government) in the future

So it’s worth a 10% bet IMO, as I think the tech and philosophical positioning behind the project are nearly on a Bitcoin level.

We’ll said, it’s really this simple

A deflationary currency is in all our best interests. They’ll tell you it would never work, because no one would spend money and just hoard. But that’s not how humans work. They’d spend what they want to and consider the weight of each purchase. Businesses would have to offer products and services that are WORTH parting with your equity for, instead of just operating debt instruments like they do now.
