Crypto isn't pumped by people like you and me it's pumped by intitutional money and while inflation is high, interests are low and consequently rich people with assets can borrow money paying very little or even getting paid to borrow (i.e negative interest rates). This cheap money floods the stock market and consequently flood crypto. This is why every govt is always talkign about the stock market numbers and not how much disposable income people have. To further expand up this, the deadline for the contraction cycle of the economy via raised interest rates is the midterms since in order for a party to be reelected they need to start the credit expansion cycle again and have pretty numbers
tldr short right after the election up until the midterms then DCA until a bottom is formed and go long as the FED becomes dovish. Rinse and repeat.
