Well... the verdict is in. I can't recommend Mene.

Aside from the fucked up Latin inscription, the piece also arrived damaged or poorly QC'd. Rough patch at the bottom edge, doesn't look like it was scratched but rather a manufacturing error. Definitely not lettering, which I thought it was at first. This defect, at a ridiculous jeweler's markup, is unacceptable. Buyer beware, fuck Mene.
