Give me one reason to trade a veritably scarce unit of account, for an infinite unit of account.
One is a real measurement of wealth, the other a tool to manipulate the poor into over consumption.
The real reason we're raping the planet of its resources and creating inefficiencies in our markets via subsidies, is because our government relies on a third party currency that has no tangibility nor reflection on the real value of goods.
Why don't we just solve our mathematics problems with a number system that expands every year such that 1 from a previous year is equal to 1.02 the next year?
Probably because it would require us to use derivatives to calculate the correct answers to simple mathematical problems.
Why should the monetary system be any different from our mathematics system? Why is there not a fixed basis to measure wealth?
We live on a scarce planet with finite resources, it is absolutely ridiculous to measure the value of these finite resources with an infinitely expanding currency.
It is so obvious that the current system is a tool to create an artificial income inequality gap between people who actually produce for the economy, and people who manage it. I.e those who are born into trust funds.
Don't get me wrong, I am no commie (as commies are the ones who support such a ludicrous infinitely expanding monetary system as they do not believe in scarcity), but those who have obtained their wealth through trust funds have never produced any real world goods for society.
I am not suggesting we take their wealth, I'm suggesting we measure their wealth via an objective unit of measurement in which its scarcity can be compared to the scarcity of all resources on earth.
Doing this makes it easier for buyers and sellers to determine the true value of goods, and allows everyday workers to save money, rather than spend it.

The current monetary system is an illusion designed to enslave us. We must replace it with another monetary system based in reality.
