People don’t want electric cars for $45,000. Yes the low end Tesla models might go that low. But the demand isn’t there. Toyota Honda and Ford are basically giving their cars away right now.

Also, the Tesla only really has a range of about 160 miles driven at highway speeds. You need to charge it for 10 hours at home.

Electric cars are toys for the rich. One day the average customer might all buy hybrids or something. We are not even close anon.

And certainly no significant amount of people will sell their gas powered cars in the middle of a recession to buy an electric.

It's not that bad. I make nearly three times what I would as slave labor at my university, and the alternatives were to keep spending on a masters or unemployment.
I keep a copy of my diploma in my cubicle. I glance at it every time someone calls me not knowing what they want, are partially deaf, don't understand simple english, and are unable to provide basic details on their system but demand an immediate solution to their problem.
